Base Airlie Beach Resort

The location was great, right by the beach and set within a beautiful garden. The staff were friendly and professional, always on hand to assist with any queries. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. I also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the bar/lounge area, which had a nice atmosphere. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience here.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. The service and facilities were top-notch, and I had a great time during my stay.

Everyone was friendly and particularly Megan was brilliant in booking tours and no question was too much for her to answer. I liked that the acomodation was spread out. Kitchen and bath rooms are kept very clean.

I would be nice to have one of this coffee machines in the kitchen where you pay money and get a good cup of coffee out of it. A kettle in the rooms would be nice too for that late cup of tea.

We had a great value for money experience at Base. The location was excellent, right on the high street and just a short walk from the Lagoon. Our room was spacious and included a kitchen and bathroom, all for a bargain price of £45. Despite some minor issues with cleanliness, the overall value was excellent. We would recommend this hotel for budget travelers.

Shower Bath in room. Great meal & beer deal $10Aus for steak meal & beer! Wish I had booked more time there! Definitely a good deal for great service!

Great hostel to stay for a good price,really friendly staff and all my trips and activities I ve booked through them. Good discounts,if you stay at Base. It was not my first time ,I stayed at Base. Strongly recommend for solo and group travellers.

We had one of our best stays in a hostel ever. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a huge area that included multiple buildings with beautifully maintained gardens, a fine pool, and a great atmosphere in the bars. The location was spot on, close enough to everything you need but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We felt safe and secure, plus the keyless and cardless entry was a great touch. The staff were attentive, helping us to settle in quickly, ideal after a long drive.

We stayed for one night and the room was excellent. We even had a jacuzzi in the room what was totally unexpected.

We were surprised to find ourselves staying in little houses, but they were located literally in the centre of town, which was amazing. the location was definitely worth paying a little extra for, and the outdoor areas with pools were clean and inviting.

The bathrooms were in need of updating and were not as clean as we would have liked.

Our room was great, the staff was very helpful, and it is in the best location in Airlie Beach. In addition, the Down Under Bar right on premise has the best meal / drink deal in town. I would absolutely stay here again.
